The TRUSPAN® cables are also designed for maximum safety and longevity. The use of FRP products for cable management is especially crucial in order for the cables to sustain and withstand harsh environmental conditions that often cause materials such as steel to corrode and disintegrate quickly.

The TRUSPAN® System Cable Ladders are also manufactured and tested in accordance to the NEMA FG-1 standard of quality, which is the universal standard that determines the construction and testing standards for non-metallic cable systems. Different resin systems can also be selected to meet varying chemical/corrosion resistant needs.
UV-resistant and fire retardant standards, such as ASTM E84, BS 476, and UL-94 are also available. These are standard tests administered to materials/structures to determine their surface burning characteristics, and they also assess whether the material/structure is suitable to be used as a fire deterrent.
